Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a skilled fabrication operator for 2nd shift in Indiana. You will operate press brakes and related fabrication equipment, including CNC lasers and stamping presses, to shape sheet metal per drawings.

You will set up tooling, interpret blueprints, perform precise measurements with calipers and micrometers, and conduct quality inspections. The role emphasizes safety, routine maintenance, and quick troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Proficiency operating manufacturing machinery such as press brakes, CNC equipment, plasma cutters, welding equipment, and EDM tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with CNC programming and setup for precision machining tasks.
• Experience with Hurco or LVD controls a plus.
• Solid understanding of safety standards in production environments.
• Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques, including tooling setup and assembly.
• Basic math skills for measurements and tolerances.

Shift and Compensation

2nd Shift

Monday–Friday

2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Pay: $16.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate press brakes and other fabrication equipment — including CNC laser cutters, stamping presses, and related machinery — to shape sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications
• Set up tooling and fixtures accurately to ensure precise cuts and bends in sheet metal fabrication
• Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide setup and production
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications
• Follow proper safety procedures when operating machinery and handling hand tools and other equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with troubleshooting machine issues to minimize downtime
