Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a stable, long-term opportunity!

Texas Tissue Converting is seeking to hire full-time Production Helpers to become Machine Operators that will learn to operate paper converting machinery in the production of bath tissue and paper towels. The position is located in Conroe, TX and we offer an excellent benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance.

12 hour shifts 6-6:30, rotate every 30 days. Shift differential paid when working nights! 2-2-3 schedule!

Responsibilities

• Learn how to operate and maintain production machines in a paper converting line. (Rewinders, unwinders, wrappers, palletizers, case packers, etc.)
• Ability to adhere to Safety Policy and Procedures!
• Run and Operate and clean manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion.
• Load raw materials (Parent Reels, Poly Rolls, Core Materials)
• Monitor equipment, perform resets, replenish and troubleshoot assigned area of the line as needed.
• Determine and report downtime, pallet counts, machine speeds, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areas.
• Monitor line for defective materials and perform quality checks.
• May operate overhead crane to load and unload parent reels.
• May operate packaging equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of machine operation experience required.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team!
• CNC Experience is a Plus
• Physical: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts standing, bending, stooping and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Paper Converting experience a plus.
• Excellent attendance record (the schedule is the 2-2-3 schedule)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to complete background check and pre- employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
  
  

Salary: $18.00 per hour
