Temp to hire job opportunity in Conroe, Texas for Laser Cutting Machine Operators. Pay is up to $25/hr depending on experience. This position is a second shift opportunity from 3:30pm-12:00am.

Job Summary:

The Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and modify metal or other materials as per specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. The Laser Operator ensures that all products meet quality standards and production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines, configuring parameters such as speed, power, and focus based on material and requirements.
• Load, unload, and secure materials onto the machine bed.
• Perform maintenance checks and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files for programming.
• Adjust settings and calibrate the laser for various materials and thicknesses for precise cuts.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and specifications.
• Measure parts with precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Report discrepancies or defects in materials or products.
• Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and ensure machine safety features are active.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization.
• Complete logs and documentation related to machine usage and output.
• Report malfunctions or shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide feedback for process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
