Job Description
Job Duties:
- Measure, mark, and scribe temperatures and reference points on materials or workpieces, as well as select, align, and secure fixtures and stamp position numbers.
- Calculate and set controls to regulate temperatures and pressures, including speed, gas pressure, and part clearance; enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit machine control programs.
- Manufacture parts and components within specified tolerances, minimizing scrap and adhering to the production schedule.
- Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions, adjusting machine controls as needed.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Assist with helper duties such as stenciling, cleaning, and supporting operators to ensure smooth production.
- Perform maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Train new employees and cross-train in other areas.
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate and work safely in a team environment.
