1st shift Press Brake Machine Operator - ONeal Manufacturing Services

Join our team as a 1st shift Press Brake Machine Operator at O'Neal Manufacturing Services.

Position Summary

The Machine Operator may operate various machines in the shop, including angle line machines, bevellers, saws, shears, oxy or plasma burners, laser cutters, rolling machines, flattening presses, shot blasters, welders, press brakes, machining centers or lathes, and tube or custom lasers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Commit to workplace safety.
  • Set up and operate machines, including adjusting and replacing expendable tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Operate equipment such as angle line machines, bevellers, saws, shears, burners, laser cutters, rolling machines, presses, shot blasters, welders, press brakes, machining centers, lathes, and lasers.
  • Support safety and quality programs by following all rules and established processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklifts and cranes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Understand customer tolerances.
  • Use hand tools and measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, and metric to English.
  • Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.
  • Capable of setting up and operating processing machines.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting 20-50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Bending, sitting, standing, twisting, and stooping for long periods.
  • Walking 2-5 miles during shifts.
  • Good vision (20/30 with corrective lenses).
  • Manual dexterity for handling precision objects.
Environmental Conditions

Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to changing temperatures, loud noises, vibrations, moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, high heat, chemicals, fumes, dust, gases, poor ventilation, and oils from cutting fluids.
