Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join a plastics manufacturing team focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. The role involves operating molding and assembly equipment, following written instructions, and maintaining documentation to meet dimensional and visual standards.

The position offers 1st shift and 3rd shift with competitive hourly pay, training provided for the right candidate, and opportunities to contribute to production continuity on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred; experience working in plastic injection molding is a plus.
• Basic math skills and reasoning ability.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full manufacturing shift.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. occasionally, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Load, start up, and operate molding machines, semi-automatic assembly machines, automatic assembly machines, or manual assembly machines.
• Monitor automatic machinery to support consistent production of small plastic components.
• Perform color changes and handle materials (raw materials and finished goods) over short distances.
• Conduct visual and functional quality inspections at predetermined intervals to ensure product meets standards.
• Perform gaging as necessary to confirm products meet dimensional standards, label correctly, palletize for transfer, and maintain required documentation.
