Job summary

PrideStaff San Diego is recruiting for Machine Operators to join a manufacturing environment on 1st or 2nd shift. Pay ranges are listed with 21.50/hr on 1st shift and 23.65/hr on 2nd shift. Training may occur on alternate shifts and could lead to a permanent position with benefits.

Required are 6+ months recent machine operation experience, basic manufacturing knowledge, detail orientation, and readiness to work overtime and Saturdays. High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months recent experience as a Machine Operator
• Manufacturing experience
• Detail oriented and quality focused
• Able to work with small parts
• Willing to work overtime and some Saturdays
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Produce quality products
• Set up per client requirements
• Inform Shift Supervisor of production and/or quality problems
• Record production results in the system
• Record labor hours against work orders
• Record results of process setups and samples
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
• Be willing to train on a different shift if applicable
