Jobot in Southern California is hiring for experienced Machinist and Machine Operator roles on permanent basis. Positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts with direct hire and a comprehensive benefits package in Orange County, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in machinist or machine operator role.
• Extensive knowledge of machine operations and basic maintenance.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Understanding of GD&T principles.
• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Machinist apprenticeship or equivalent is a plus.
• NTMA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications.
• Operate and maintain mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses.
• Take precise measurements with micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Set up, adjust, calibrate machine tools and equipment.
• Apply GD&T to inspect parts and assemblies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Fabricate/modify parts to repair or maintain machines.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement procedures and resolve issues.
