Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is seeking a motivated bindery operator. You will learn to operate high‑speed bindery equipment (cutter, folder, stitcher and perfect binder) and help keep machines running smoothly to hit daily production goals.

This 1st‑shift role is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM with potential overtime. You will work as part of a team, inspect finished work, troubleshoot minor issues, and follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic tools
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes)
• Pride in quality work and reliability
• Team player who shows up on time

This is a 1st shift position - working Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3PM with potential for overtime hours.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you. We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.

On your feet for most of the shift

Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
