Job Title:

Operator III, Technician

Schedule, Shift 1:

Mon-Thurs, 4:30am-3pm

Pay Range:

$22-$28/hour

ARCH Medical Solutions specializes in precision machining, contract manufacturing, and supply chain integration, with high-tech facilities across the country. We develop orthopedic, spine, dental implants, navigated and robotic-assisted surgical devices, and precision components for surgical robotic systems and biomedical equipment.

Summary

Responsibilities include setting up, troubleshooting, and operating conventional, special purpose, and automatic machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform setups and operate machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Support machine start-up and daily operations.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) on new setups and repeat orders.
• Assist in daily operations and inspections as needed.
• Address mechanical issues, alarms, noises, leaks, and document findings.
• Adjust machines for quality concerns and document adjustments.
• Maintain tools and support preventive maintenance.
• Ensure accurate data entry and follow waste reduction initiatives.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE usage.

Competencies

• Attention to quality and accuracy.
• Adherence to safety procedures.
• Knowledge of materials like aluminum, brass, titanium, stainless steel.
• Blueprint reading and inspection equipment operation.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, plus 1 year of college or technical training, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years CNC machining or general machining experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, manual dexterity, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision.
