Motor Wheel Chattanooga - Foundry Worker

Motor Wheel Chattanooga is seeking candidates with heavy industrial experience. Foundry experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include:

1. Following work instructions and directions from the foundry lead to determine work processes.
2. Weighing specified amounts of materials for project modules.
3. Operating and calibrating machinery to ensure readiness.
4. Using various hand tools.
5. Following ventilation procedures.
6. Installing and removing steel jackets and bands for snap molds.
7. Sorting castings, pulling reinforcing wires, removing castings from molds, and placing them on setting rings.
8. Performing preventative and regular maintenance on equipment.
9. Maintaining clean and safe work areas.
10. Setting bands, cleaning chucks, and operating equipment like fork trucks and grinders.
11. Monitoring, logging, and recording processes.
12. Assisting in changeovers and cross-training employees.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance, prolonged standing/walking, manual dexterity, and mobility. The role involves exposure to extreme heat, temperature changes, noise, and hazards.

The successful candidate must obtain industrial powered equipment certification (e.g., fork truck).
