Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Machine Operators in Greenup, IL for a 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM) role. This full-time, long-term position offers a comprehensive benefits package after hire and weekly pay.

You will maintain a safe, clean work area, complete production and quality documentation, and contribute to Lean/5S initiatives while meeting efficiency goals. The role requires hands-on training for new employees and adherence to engineering requirements and production expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area.

• Perform quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship meet engineering requirements.
• Deburr edges and apply edge treatment (ZRC) when necessary.
• Contribute to Lean and 5S initiatives in your area.

• Perform quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and production expectations
• Make sure that all edges are deburred and edge treatment applied if necessary (ZRC)
• Contribute to Lean and 5s Implemented in your areas.
• Must be a self-starter that can work without supervision.
