Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Machine Operator in Greenup, IL for a 3rd shift (3 PM - 11 PM). This full-time, long-term role includes a comprehensive benefits package after hire.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work area, documenting production and quality metrics, and supporting Lean and 5S initiatives. Prior experience with press brake or laser operation is noted as pay is experience-based.

Qualifications

• Self-starter able to work without supervision.
• Hands-on training for new employees.
• Proficient in completing production and quality documentation.
• Lean and 5S techniques implemented in the area.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Able to conduct hands on training for new employees.
• Proficiently complete all production and quality documentation, CRN, ASME, etc.
• Maintain acceptable production rates within the skill level, by meeting or exceeding efficiency goals.
• Perform quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship meet engineering requirements and production expectations.
• Make sure that edges are deburred and edge treatment applied if necessary (ZRC).
• Contribute to Lean and 5S implemented in your areas.
• Must be a self-starter that can work without supervision.
