Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is hiring for multiple sheet metal manufacturing roles including Set-up Press Brake Operator, CNC/Laser Turret Operator, Powder Coat Painter, Spot Welder, Welder, Silkscreen Operator, General Production Operator, Assembly Technician, Grinder, and Material Handler.

These are hands-on positions requiring precision, with various tools and machinery used daily. Roles involve reading work orders, operating metal-working equipment, performing quality inspections,

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and execute work orders.
• Attention to detail and precision in hands-on manufacturing tasks.
• Dexterity and physical ability to operate hand and power tools, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties related to sheet metal manufacturing and assembly.
• Operate and maintain metal-working machinery and equipment.
• Read, interpret, and execute work orders.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Assemble metal components using techniques such as spot welding or riveting.
• Use hand tools and power tools to shape, cut, and bend sheet metal.
• Program CNC machines for precise metal cutting and shaping.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

1. You will be responsible for performing various duties related to sheet metal manufacturing and assembly. These are hands-on roles that require attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
2. Operate and maintain metal-working machinery and equipment.
3. Read, interpret, and execute work orders.
4. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
5. Assemble metal components using various techniques, such as spot welding or riveting.
6. Use hand tools and power tools to shape, cut, and bend sheet metal.
7. Program CNC machines for precise metal cutting and shaping.
8. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

• Walking and standing for most of the time.
• You need dexterity of hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, and must be capable of standing, bending, pushing, moving, climbing stairs and lifting objects up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Shifts

1st shift: 6am - 2pm

2nd shift: 2pm - 10pm

3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am
