Job summary

Pratt Industries in Nashville, TN is seeking a Machine Operator to manage the full cycle of running the corrugator line, including setup, operation, and cleanup.

You will monitor product quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist others on the shift while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality, including print, size and alignment.
• Check equipment for damage and maintain cleanliness.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating at capacity and speed.
• Train and assist helpers with job duties on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports accurately (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data).
• Submit maintenance work orders and participate in proactive equipment upkeep.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements to meet cost, quality and service goals.
