Overview: To be responsible for ensuring equipment and facility sanitary specifications are attained. The employee must regularly walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Occasionally, the employee is required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The work environment includes exposure to extreme cold, wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Job Description:

• Perform cleaning tasks, maintain cleanliness of facilities and equipment, and ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Understand and properly use cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members in Sanitation and Production departments.
• Operate equipment related to packaging and perform size changeovers.
• Conduct quality inspections and adjust products and equipment as needed.
• Record maintenance activities, inspection data, and production metrics.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines, assist with preventative maintenance.
• Follow all plant rules, GMPs, SOPs, and safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in standardized situations.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to operate fork truck and pallet jack.
• Computer literacy for documentation purposes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and adhere to safety and quality standards.
