Blueshift is hiring for a full-time Operations role in Spencer, MA. The team operates a solvent recovery system, sets up production lines, and maintains documentation to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with complex systems and processes.
• Preferred experience with hazardous chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to safely operate a fork truck, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven commitment to safety and quality with adherence to protocols and audits.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the solvent recovery system to maintain optimal performance and minimize waste.
• Assist in preparing the production line for consistent operation, calibrating equipment as needed.
• Participate in post-run cleanup to keep a safe and organized environment.
• Engage in risk assessments and safety training to uphold compliance.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure reliability.
• Maintain thorough records of production metrics, equipment logs, and maintenance.
• Prepare, test, and record quality control tests for materials and final products.
• Adhere to the site’s QMS and regulatory protocols.
• Share knowledge and best practices to foster team collaboration.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with the team to support continuous improvement initiatives.
