Job summary

Blueshift is seeking an Operator to join the Operations team in Spencer, MA for the day shift. This full-time, non-exempt role supports critical manufacturing processes, operates specialized systems, collaborates with colleagues, and contributes to continuous improvement.

You must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years in manufacturing, with safety and quality focus. Experience with hazardous chemicals and forklift operation is preferred, and a willingness to learn new systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ≥3 years in manufacturing with complex systems.
• Prefer experience with hazardous chemicals and safe handling.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or commit to training.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven commitment to safety and quality, with audits.
• Mechanical aptitude and quick learning of new systems.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the solvent recovery system to maintain optimal performance.
• Assist in setting up the production line and calibrate equipment.
• Participate in post-run cleanup to maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Engage in risk assessments and safety training.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of production metrics, logs, and maintenance.
• Prepare, test, and record quality control tests for materials and product.
• Adhere to the site's Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and share knowledge.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
