Job Overview:

We’re looking for a Coating Technician I to support our optical coating operations. You’ll play a key role in preparing, coating, and testing glass and optical components, ensuring accuracy and consistency in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow specifications and route sheets for coating applications
2. Accurately measure and apply coatings
3. Troubleshoot issues such as shifting or patching
4. Perform maintenance and testing on vacuum chambers
5. Identify and report nonconforming products
6. Maintain organized records and clean workspaces
7. Follow safety guidelines and take initiative where needed

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 0–2 years of relevant experience
3. Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills
4. Must speak, read, and write English clearly
5. U.S. Person status required (due to ITAR regulations)
6. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet
7. Dependable, punctual, and available for overtime
