More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Machine Operator-Permanent Mold in New Oxford, PA with Signify.
Perform any of the following combination of tasks in the foundry concerned with melting metal, pouring metal into molds, and removing castings from molds
Set up mold and operate robotic permanent mold molding system that utilizes robotic pouring of molten metal
Observe continuous operation of molding machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, adjusting, as necessary
Apply coolants or lubricants to molds and mold parts, and clean workpieces or finished products
Inspects metal casts and molds for cracks, bubbles, or other defects and measures castings to ensure specifications met

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience in the Foundry Industry is preferred
Robotic programming experience a plus
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must have the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and other foundry personnel
Able to lift 75lbs
Must have the ability to use hand tools and larger mechanical machines in the casting process
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Rate = $20.00 an hour
Hours = 5am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday/overtime as needed
