Employment Type: Hourly

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet or exceed internal and external customer requirements. Follow policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment to ensure successful execution of responsibilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate filling and/or packaging equipment, including completing preventive maintenance, adjusting machinery, and making minor repairs.
2. Understand machine functions, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments using the HMI.
3. Maintain production and quality records, operate equipment safely, and keep the work area clean.
4. Assist in training production assistants, ensuring adherence to quality, GMPs, and safety rules, and evaluate trainees.
5. Manage information in the product library.
6. Perform sanitation of filling line equipment, operate CIP circuits, and handle chemicals safely with proper PPE.
7. Follow food safety policies, including SQF, GMPs, FSMA, and preventive controls.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of filling and packaging equipment.
• Mechanical ability to diagnose, resolve issues, and maintain machinery.

Work Environment:

Shifts are typically 8-12 hours with possible after-hours and weekend work. PPE is required. Work may involve outdoor or adverse conditions, exposure to chemicals, fumes, allergens, confined spaces, and heights.
