The Essential Functions

• Follows all safety rules regarding machine operation.
• Scans and verifies the LPN on product.
• Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase in the production cycle.
• Removes jams when machine shuts down due to malfunction, incorrect packing materials, etc.
• Starts machine and carefully observes initial operation.
• Maintains reports on work orders handled and quantities produced.
• Performs rework of damaged product when line is down.
• Communicates constantly with Process Leader.
• Ensures work area and machines are kept clean.
• Housekeeping of department/areas.
• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.

Position Qualifications

• Attendance - Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time. Willingness to work overtime during busy season.
• Communication - Effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner. Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Mathematics - Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
