Job summary

Champion Personnel is hiring experienced Machine Operators for a Streetsboro, OH location. This full-time opportunity offers $18.00–$21.00 per hour with first and second shifts available.

Responsibilities include operating a Haeger insertion machine, loading and securing sheet metal, following blueprints, inspecting parts for defects, and maintaining quality and safety standards on a clean, team-oriented shop floor.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Experience with metal fabrication or similar machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate Haeger insertion machine to install fasteners into sheet metal components.
• Load, position, and secure sheet metal parts into machinery.
• Insert nuts, bolts, studs and fasteners per job specs.
• Read blueprints and production orders and follow instructions.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and verify quality against standards.
• Use micrometers/calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
