Job summary

Champion Personnel in Strongsville, OH is hiring Machine Operators to work with metal coatings on aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. The role requires mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Expect 12-hour shifts (5:45 AM to 6:00 PM) on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule, with on-the-job training provided. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with quarterly bonuses of $100–$500 for permanent employees.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending and working long shifts.
• Must have steel-toe boots.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that apply coatings and inks to metal materials.
• Assist with machine setups and adjustments.
• Use overhead hoists to load and unload metal coils.
• Monitor machines to ensure proper operation and perform quality checks.
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized.
• Learn how to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments.
