Champion Personnel is hiring four experienced Machine Operators for a small, family-owned manufacturing company in Cleveland. These positions are for the 2nd shift, but candidates must train on the 1st shift for up to two months before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Starting pay is $21.00/hour with a contract-to-hire opportunity. Training will cover setup, operation, and quality checks for stainless-steel threaded meter rods used in the paper industry, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualificações

• Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must wear steel-toe boots.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently after training.
• Excellent attendance, especially during training.

What You'll Do

As a Machine Operator, you'll be trained to set up and operate machinery that produces stainless-steel threaded meter rods used in the paper industry. You'll load rods into the machine, monitor the production process, and ensure the finished product meets requirements. Machine cycles can take up to 30 minutes, so attention to detail and patience are important.

What We're Looking For

• We’re looking for candidates with real machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• You should be comfortable reading a tape measure, have decent math and measuring skills, be able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Candidates should also be dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently after training.
• Excellent attendance is extremely important — candidates must be committed to showing up every scheduled day, particularly during the first 90 days.
