Job Title: Machine Operator / Mechanic

Company: InSpec Solutions, LLC

InSpec Solutions is a developer and manufacturer of topical cosmetic and over-the-counter drug products. We collaborate with brands to develop and produce anti-aging, therapeutic skin care, sunscreen, pain relief, first-aid, and general skin care products. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking new talent to expand our team.

Objective:

We are looking for multiple Machine Operators / Mechanics to operate highly technical packaging machines. Positions are available for all shifts. Experience with production equipment is preferred, and pay depends on experience. Candidates must pass a criminal background check.

This is a hands-on role. Successful candidates should be proactive and solution-oriented in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate manufacturing equipment related to bottles, jars, tubes, and sprays.
2. Support production projects and assist in determining spare part requirements.
3. Participate in new equipment installation and startup.
4. Perform changeovers on automated equipment.
5. Troubleshoot and conduct repairs, both major and minor.
6. Identify potential maintenance issues and take corrective actions, including parts requisitioning and planning.
7. Follow all Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Micro Cleaning & Sanitization standards.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including participating in housekeeping assessments.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: Typically 10-12 hours per day.

Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting/moving up to 75 pounds, and vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Additional Skills: Strong interpersonal skills preferred.

Safety:

Employees must wear required safety gear, follow safety procedures, and use proper lifting techniques to ensure a safe work environment. Training on GMP and safety protocols will be provided.
