Our client, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking several experienced Machine Operators on both the 2nd or 3rd shifts to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Machine Operator - Manufacturing

Location:

Middletown, NY

Pay Range:

$20.80 per hour

Shifts:

• 2nd Shift - Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• 3rd Shift - Monday-Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

What’s the Job?

• Set up and adjust corrugator machines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and perform troubleshooting as necessary.
• Maintain quality control by inspecting products for specifications and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
• Document production data accurately, including machine settings, output, and issues encountered.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation preferred.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
• Knowledge of various types of machines, preferably in corrugated production processes and materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
