Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Lindon, Utah is seeking a Machine Operator/Machinist for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm–midnight). You will operate machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to produce metal and plastic parts that meet tight specifications.

Required abilities include using manual and CNC machinery, reading blueprints, and basic CNC programming. Some welding skills help; you must stand 8–10 hours, work overtime as needed, and contribute to a safe, high-quality production

Qualifications

• Ability to use manual and computer-controlled machinery.
• Understanding of material speeds and feeds.
• Ability to write basic CNC programs.
• Ability to use complex measuring tools, micrometers, digital calipers etc.
• Basic welding skills are a plus
• Ability to work at a set production pace
• Must be able to do basic machine set ups
• Critical thinking and decision-making skillset
• High attention to critical details
• Multi-tasking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have good eye hand coordination
• Solid mathematics skills
• High school diploma or GED.
• Some heavy lifting is required.
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per shift
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Salary Range: 24.96-27.65/hr

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

Bonus: Discretionary Year End
