Ideal candidates bring 30+ months of machining experience, Level 2 qualification, and strong measurement skills with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 30 months machining experience.
• Internal: Level 2 Machine Operator qualification.
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes/equipment.
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.
• Proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.
• Operate/mount parts using instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start/stop procedures and load raw material.
• Make tool and fixture set-ups and adjustments.
• Maintain records and forms; inspect parts per standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions and discrepancies.
• Set up tooling, process, and machine; perform routine maintenance.
• Suggest process changes to improve operations.
