Qualifications

• Minimum 30 months of machining experience.
• Must be fully qualified as a Level 2 Machine Operator.
• Advanced knowledge of metal or plastic cutting processes and equipment.
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.
• Proficient machining, communication, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Complete set-up and operation of machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform start-stop procedures including machine startup, loading raw material, and shutdown.
• Make simple and advanced changes, adjustments, and setup to tooling and fixtures.
• Complete records and forms.
• Inspect machined parts visually and dimensionally per quality standards.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to supervisor.
• Set up parts, processes, and machines as required.
• Perform daily, semi-annual, and annual machine maintenance.
• Suggest process changes to improve machining operations.
