ProAmpac is seeking a reliable Machine Operator (Lamination) for its Lenexa, KS facility. The role requires setting up, operating, and monitoring lamination equipment to produce compliant laminated film, with a focus on adhesion, film integrity, safety, GMP, and SQF standards.

You will perform quality checks, maintain logs, and ensure a safe, clean work environment while adhering to documented procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a measuring tape and follow simple instructions.
• Strong desire to learn and grow within manufacturing.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments as needed.
• Ability to monitor equipment and proactively identify quality or production issues.
• Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust lamination equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Load, unload, and stage film, adhesive rolls, and materials.
• Monitor adhesive application, film tension, and machine performance during production.
• Perform quality checks including measurements, coat weight, and mix ratio verification.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and computer logs.
• Identify and properly dispose of contaminated adhesives or solvents per procedures.
• Handle hazardous and universal waste and complete Haz-Mat training.
• Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA, PPE, and food safety requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Schedule: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and quality-focused Machine Operator (Lamination) to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring lamination equipment to produce laminated film that meets production, quality, and food safety standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring proper adhesion, film integrity, and compliance with safety, GMP, and SQF requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
