Job summary

Quanex in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Machine Operator II for the 3rd shift (Sun-Wed, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM). You will set up, operate and verify machine performance in the grinding and reprocessing area.

Responsibilities include labeling regrind containers, collecting scrap from up to 49 machines per shift, performing TPM and inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work space while supporting quality improvements with leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred but not required.

Quanex is looking for a Machine Operator II-3rd Shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.

The Machine Operator II is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by sorting, grinding, and restocking ground material for reprocessing in the mixing area. The schedule is Sunday-Wednesday 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.

The hourly wage for this position is $17.00/hr plus $1.00/shift differential.
