Job summary

Quanex in Cambridge, OH is seeking a Production Operator for 3rd Shift to produce quality products with minimal scrap and maintain safety and efficiency.

You will set up equipment, complete changeovers, follow 5S, and work overtime as needed; benefits include 401K, ESPP, health plans, and tuition support.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels.
• Identify quality material prior to packaging.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; notify supervisor of any safety issues.
• Attend work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in 5S standards.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating with coworkers.

Hourly Rate: $18/hr. + $1/hr. shift differential

3rd Shift Sun-Thurs - 10pm-6am

What Success Looks Like

Your Credentials

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School or GED preferred
• Willing to work overtime including weekends
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis
