Quanex in Luck, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator on the 1st shift. You will work hands-on with finger joint machines, optimizer, chop saw, and glue press, ensuring precise production and proper machine setup.

Responsibilities include feeding lumber, aligning materials, and making small adjustments to sustain quality. Benefits and a supportive team help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production, assembly, or related work experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.

• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Feed lumber into the machine and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
• Make basic machine adjustments to maintain production quality.
• Monitor product quality to meet standards.
• Keep the work area neat and orderly.
• Accurately complete production documentation.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Quanexis looking for aMachine Operator - 1st Shift to join our team inLuck, Wisconsin.

Salary: $17.63 to $26.45 per hour, depending on experience.

• Potential for pay increase up to $1 if meeting or exceeding expectations at 90 day performance review.
• The level for each Machine Operator is determined by management based on the ability to train others and number of machines the operator can run while meeting production standards and quality requirements.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime potential on Fridays.
