Quanex is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Thomasville, NC. The role involves sorting parts, performing quality inspections on molded parts and separating scrap material.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.
• Inspect parts according to the specifications for quality, color, fit, form and function.
• Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
• Keeps the sorting area neat, clean and orderly.

The hourly wage for this position is $16.50/hr which includes $0.50/hour for shift premium for eligible hours worked.
