Job summary

LiDestri Foods, Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Full Time Operative to safely operate machinery and maintain product quality in a fast-paced food production environment.

The role requires following GMP guidelines, performing setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting to prevent defects, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. The position offers excellent pay and benefits including health insurance, 401k with match, paid time off, and company bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior machine operation preferred.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to use basic computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including setup, operation, changeovers, and troubleshooting to detect product defects or machine malfunctions.
• Maintain GMP standards around machinery.
• Perform SOPs for machinery in assigned area.
• Cross training or training on equipment as defined by manager.
• Maintain and issue raw materials into assigned work orders.
• Work in a safe manner, following company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain good attendance per policy.
• Report food safety and quality problems to responsible personnel.
