Job summary

GardenCore is hiring a Machine Operator in Rocky Mount, NC to operate Premier Tech machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, perform preventive maintenance, set up equipment, and ensure product quality.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong safety awareness including lock-out/tag-out; lifting up to 65 lbs and working both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of safety principles including lock-out/tag-out.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and detect malfunctions.
• Operate equipment to meet quality and production targets.
• Notify management of production, safety, quality or environmental concerns.
• Understand bagging specifications and meet quality standards.
• Daily cleanup and accurate completion of production forms.
• Perform routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
• Additional duties as needed.
