Job summary

GardenCore, based in Ohio, is seeking a Machine Operator to run manual and automated machinery in a fast-paced, controlled manufacturing environment. You will set up production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the produced items meet quality standards for our customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment operation, optimizing efficiency, and documenting daily production activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades specific to job requirements; or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and perform physical activities including bending, crouching, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and detect malfunctions from sensors, limit switches, and photo eyes.
• Operate equipment to meet quality, cost, and daily schedule targets.
• Notify management of production, safety, or quality concerns.
• Adhere to bagging specifications to meet quality targets.
• Clean production work area daily with team.
• Complete daily production forms accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling, and cleaning.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
