Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to run automated production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Bruceton Mills, WV. You will support preventive maintenance, set up machinery, and ensure high-quality output for our lawn and garden products.

The role requires at least 2 years in related trades and a high school diploma or GED. Expect working with safety protocols like lock-out/tag-out and lifting up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in trades or equivalent
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Working knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out
• Must be able to speak or hear on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and components to detect machine malfunction
• Operate equipment to optimum efficiency to meet quality, cost and schedules
• Notify management of production, safety, quality or environmental concerns
• Familiarity with bagging specifications and quality targets
• Daily cleanup of production area with team support
• Complete daily production forms accurately
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling and cleaning
• Other duties as needed
