Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to operate manual and automated machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, perform preventive maintenance, set up production machinery, and ensure product quality for our customers.

You will monitor equipment, follow safety procedures, complete daily production forms, and assist with basic maintenance. GardenCore offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a growing U.S. manufacturer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in trades specific to job requirements.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Working knowledge of safety principles, such as lock-out/tag-out.
• Ability to speak or hear in a work environment.
• Able to sit for extended periods; may frequently stand.
• Capability to lift/move up to 65 lbs; team lifting/equipment as needed.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and whole body.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation and components to detect machine malfunction.
• Operate equipment to optimum efficiency to meet quality, cost and operational requirements.
• Notify management of production, safety, quality or environmental concerns.
• Knowledge of bagging specifications, ranges, targets to meet quality standards.
• Daily cleanup of production area with assistance from others.
• Complete daily production forms accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance of production equipment (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
• Other duties as needed.
