Job summary

Milgard Windows and Doors, a proud part of MITER Brands, is seeking an Extruder Operator for the grave shift in Fife, WA. Starting pay is $22.00/hr plus a $2.00/hr shift differential, with a 6PM–6AM schedule and 2–2–3 rotation.

You will run 1–3 PVC extrusion lines, perform tooling changes, and ensure quality and safety throughout production. You’ll contribute to a tight-knit manufacturing team, maintain clean work areas, complete production reports, and assist with packaging and forklift duties

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical school certificate or 6–12 months of related experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals and procedures.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Operate 1–3 PVC profile extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards.
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and change over extrusion tooling sets using overhead crane tools.
• Perform visual inspections and measurements with calipers for quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and manage housekeeping tasks.
• Complete production reports and assist with packaging and forklift operations as needed.
