Portland Bolt, a historic manufacturer of large bolts and fasteners, seeks a skilled production worker for galvanizing and finishing operations. The role requires reading work orders, handling tools, and operating cranes with attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include processing product through chemical tanks, performing setups, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read work orders and drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools and drills.
• Ability to lift 35+lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
• Ability to use hand measuring equipment (calipers, ruler, go/no go gauges).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend work instructions following procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Inspect product per requirements and load/unload baskets in galvanizing area.
• Perform machine setups and basic operator maintenance.
• Process product through chemical tanks and verify quality.
