Job summary

AA Anchor Bolt, Inc., a family-owned bolt manufacturer in Northville, MI, has an immediate opening for a full-time General Laborer & Machine Operator. The role requires a mechanically minded, driven individual who can read job sheets and use hand and power tools to measure, cut, bend, and assemble material to specifications.

You will also assist with packaging, shipping, and handling duties, and may learn tack-welding.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend job sheets and use hand/power tools as specified.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and move material up to 50 lbs.
• Must read a tape measure or be willing to learn.
• Basic math including fractions required.
• Proficient in English and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and measure materials to job specifications using hand and power tools.
• Package, ship, and handle duties; assist with tack-welding as needed.
• Follow job sheets and maintain safety, accuracy, and quality.
• Log job time on shop tablets and photograph material.
