Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Machine Operator in Chambersburg, PA to operate filling and packaging lines and maintain equipment to meet quality standards. The role requires proper PPE, safe work practices, and adherence to GMPs and FSMA requirements.

Responsibilities include daily PMs, minor repairs, record-keeping, and training teammates while ensuring product quality and food safety across shifts. Shifts are on-site with physical demands as described in the job description.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with filling and packaging equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and adjust machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and/or packaging equipment and perform routine PMs.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, adjust settings, and calibrate via HMI.
• Maintain daily production and quality records; ensure safe operation and clean work area.
• Train production assistants on quality parameters, GMPs and safety policies.
