Job summary

Ventura Foods seeks an on-site manufacturing operator to run and maintain filling and packaging equipment on the third shift in Saginaw, TX. The role emphasizes adherence to GMPs, safety rules, and quality standards, with daily production and quality record-keeping.

You will assist in training production staff, perform routine PMs, and help manage machine setups and sanitation. The position requires physical capability and commitment to food safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating filling and packaging equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and adjust machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and/or packaging equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues on the line and adjust machinery as needed.
• Maintain daily production and quality records and keep the area clean and safe.
• Assist in training production staff to follow GMPs and safety rules.
• Document and update information in the product library.
• Sanitize filling line equipment following CI.P. protocols and PPE requirements.
• Follow SQF, GMPs, FSMA and preventive controls.
