Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Third Shift Onsite Line Operator to safely transfer products from the facility to packaging and ensure adherence to customer specs. You will operate filling and packaging equipment and supervise other line staff under a supervisor or foreman guidance.

Responsibilities include setting up lines, performing maintenance tasks as trained, training new line support, and ensuring quality and sanitation standards are met while following food safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude with good hand–eye coordination.
• Ability to lead others and exercise good judgment.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Forklift license/certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment and meet customer specs.
• Fill containers to correct weight, codes, and labeling.
• Train line support on complete line functions.
• Set up and assemble line for production; document output and losses.
• Communicate shift handoffs and maintain sanitation.
• Perform quality checks on lids, weights, codes, and case inspections.
