Qualifications

• Must be able to read and verbally communicate work instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must possess basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Must be able to manually cycle machine by opening and closing gate.
• Must be able to lift, reach, and pull up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to stand for long hours (8+).
• Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments, including temps up to 100°F occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machine to produce quality molded parts.
• Read and follow Production Operating Instructions (POI) and verbal instructions.
• Run machine at required cycle time and monitor for malfunctions.
• Verify parts meet quality standards and document rejects in RT system.
• Process parts per POI including trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, boxing, and packaging.
• Keep an accurate count of all parts and verify lot numbers on work orders.
• Fill out work orders and labels accurately and legibly; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Ensure tools and supplies are stocked for shift changes; assist next operator as needed.
• Suggest improvements via internal programs and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Keep area clean, neat, and organized; perform other duties as assigned.
