Job summary

Vision Plastics, Inc. is hiring for a Machine Operator on the graveyard shift. You will operate an injection molding machine to produce quality parts in a clean environment and receive paid on-the-job training.

Ideal candidates are punctual with good attendance and able to work both independently and in a team, following POIs and verbal instructions. The role involves monitoring cycles, reporting malfunctions, and handling basic duties from trimming to packaging.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand and verbally communicate work instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must possess basic reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machine to produce quality parts.
• Read and follow Production Operating Instructions (POI) and verbal instructions.
• Run machine at required cycle time and monitor for malfunctions.
• Verify parts meet quality standards and document rejects in RT system.
• Perform trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, packaging as needed.
• Keep accurate count of all parts and verify lot numbers.
• Fill out work orders and labels accurately with legible handwriting.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and report problems promptly.
• Ensure materials and tools are stocked for ongoing shift.
