TreeHouse Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for the Hanover, PA facility. The role reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and supports day-to-day operations on Crew B (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with a competitive hourly rate.

The position requires following established processes, operating multiple packing machines, and ensuring product quality while meeting efficiency targets. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience following instructions and process documents.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

About the Role:

The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.
• Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film, co-dates, stickers, hot stamps, etc. ready for next order.
• Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats, leakers, holes, registration, and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
• Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.
• Other duties as assigned

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role on Crew B shift, which operates from 7:00pm to 7:00am rotating shift:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 7am.

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.

The Hourly rate is $26.75 including shift differential pay.
