Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Machine Operator for Crew D at the Hanover PA facility. The role reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and supports the Lead Machine Operator with running packing room machines, changeovers, and quality checks.

This full-time position operates on a rotating 12-hour D shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with weeks alternating; starting hourly rate is $26.75, plus shift differential. Prior manufacturing experience, ability to overtime and work weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience following process documents and instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate all packing room machines to meet specifications and maintain efficiency.
• Study production sheet to anticipate changeovers and prepare films, labels, and consumables.
• Perform weight checks and inspect product for quality issues.
• Assist with changeovers and maintain bag waste limits.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:* Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens, box machines, box tapers, stretch wrapper, diverter gates, case labelers and sonic sensors.* Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines.
